Longhorns' Annual Orange-White Spring Game set for Saturday, April 21

Texas Longhorns fans will get their first glimpse of the 2018 football team on Saturday, April 21st, under the lights, during the team’s annual Orange-White scrimmage.

Head Coach Tom Herman will deviate from the traditional daylight scrimmage, instead opting for his team to scrimmage at night, with a 6:30 PM kickoff.

The game will be televised on Longhorn Network with Game Day coverage  taking place at 5:30 PM.

Texas began its spring practice on March 20th.

Spring Game Timeline of Events:

Noon: Softball vs. Oklahoma State (McCombs Field)
2:30 p.m.: Baseball vs. New Orleans (UFCU Disch-Falk Field)
3:30 p.m.: Gates 8, 14, 16 and 25 open (DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium)
3:30-5 p.m.: Texas Football On-Field Experience (DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium)
3:30-6 p.m.: Live music on Gate 8/Gate 25 stages (DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium)
4:30 p.m.: All stadium gates open
6:30 p.m.: Kickoff
Postgame: Player autographs/Fireworks show (DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium field level)
