Junior Texas shooting guard Kerwin Roach has decided to declare for the NBA Draft, but wont hire an agent according to a statement released by the University.
By not hiring an agent Roach leaves open the possibility of a return to school next season, depending on his projected draft status.
“We want to get the most accurate feedback directly from the NBA, so that we can make the best decision for my future,” Roach said in the statement.
Roach, who is 6-4 and weighs 180 lbs., averaged 12 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game this season. He had a career high 26 points in the loss against Nevada in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
