It was a busy night in Austin on Friday. The Longhorns hosted their second annual ‘Stars at Night’ recruiting event, welcoming talented 2019, 2020 and 2021 prospects. Throughout the night, the Longhorns extended a trio of offers.
The night began with an offer to 2019 Ohio DL Rodas Johnson. Johnson ranks at the 19th best defensive tackle in the country and the 299th player overall, according to the 247sports composite rankings. The talented prospect already hold offers from Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan.
The Longhorns then extended an offer to Ty Jordan, a speedy 2020 RB out of West Mesquite. Jordan for over 750 yards and collected 6 touchdowns as a sophomore. Prior to last night, Jordan already offers from multiple schools, including SMU, Houston, Utah and Kansas.
The night ended with another offer to an out-of-state prospect, 2019 Florida LB Marcus Tillman. The 247sports composite rankings rank Tillman as the 22nd best outside linebacker in the country. Tillman already held offers from several big programs, including Florida, Clemson and Ohio State.
