Texas came out with a big win against Kansas State on Saturday, leaving them with four straight wins going into next weekends clash with the Oklahoma Sooners.

1) This was Texas’ first win in Manhattan since 2002
The Longhorns had gone 16 years without a win in Manhattan, Kansas. This all changed on Saturday when Texas came out with a 19-14 win over the Wildcats.
The last came on October 19th, 2002, when the Chris Simms led Longhorns team won 17-14. Today’s win also marked just the second win by Texas in Manhattan.
The Manhattan woes finally ended and Texas got their second straight win vs Kansas St.
